Weekly New Wonders Playlist # 25 of 2021 !

I wouldn’t normally do this but today is my Mom’s 81st birthday and I just want to pay tribute to her this week ! That’s a pic of her in our kitchen in the’80s with our diva hound dog Daisy (RIP girl) and her ever present (back in the day) Salem cigarette. Just want to send big blessings to this Brooklyn born hippie girl who throughout the ’70s drove a white Chevy Nova with a huge yellow sunflower🌻 painted on the side proudly through our conservative town, who worshipped Janis Joplin, referred to Bob Dylan as “Bobby”, Jim Croce as “Jimmy” and LL Cool J as “JJ Cool” (which even though it was a mistake I still find to be awesome). She’s the coolest and I hope I can grow up to be like her someday. She once told me the happiest day of her life was the day she stopped caring what people thought of her and yeah, here’s to that 😉 Anyway, Happy 18th Birthday Mom (not 81 as you reminded me), you rule forever ❤️ !
